At Perpétuel Gallery, we believe the finest timepieces should do more than tell time. They should preserve artistry, celebrate culture, and embody craftsmanship that transcends generations. The Peacock Edition was created with precisely that ambition.

Developed in partnership with Danish independent watchmaker Vitreum, this exclusive edition of just seven timepieces unites contemporary independent watchmaking with one of horology's oldest and most revered artistic disciplines: handcrafted cloisonné grand feu enamel.

Bringing the project to life required almost an entire year of dedicated craftsmanship. Renowned for their mastery of traditional enameling, the artisans at Vitreum individually shape delicate gold wires to create every feather, before filling each compartment with successive layers of enamel that are repeatedly fired at extreme temperatures. Every stage demands extraordinary patience and precision, as even the slightest imperfection can require the dial to be recreated from the beginning.

The inspiration behind the Peacock Edition was as natural as it was meaningful.

The peacock has long symbolized beauty, immortality, and nobility across many cultures. Its remarkable iridescent plumage—shifting effortlessly between brilliant blues, vibrant greens, and shimmering golds—offers an ideal canvas for the depth and luminosity that only grand feu enamel can achieve. For Perpétuel Gallery, the motif carries an additional connection to Dubai, where peacocks have become an elegant and familiar sight throughout the DIFC district and the neighbouring royal residences, adding a quiet sense of majesty to the city's landscape.

Every feather has been individually crafted to capture the movement, texture, and remarkable brilliance of the bird's plumage. No printing, stamping, or automation is involved. As each dial is entirely handmade, every one of the seven watches possesses its own unique character, ensuring that no two examples will ever be identical.

Beneath this miniature work of art beats the reliable manually wound Sellita SW210, allowing the handcrafted dial to remain the undisputed centrepiece while providing dependable everyday performance. The restrained stainless steel case and refined proportions offer a timeless frame for one of watchmaking's most demanding decorative arts.
