Monday Skeleton Blue

The Art of Revealing Time

The Monday Skeleton Blue marks a new chapter in Renaud Tixier’s exploration of mechanical innovation and traditional craftsmanship. Building upon the original Monday, this exceptional creation reveals the movement in its entirety, transforming its intricate architecture into a captivating display of contemporary haute horlogerie.

Housed in a 40.8 mm case of 18ct grey gold, delicately hand-engraved along the caseband and between the lugs, the fully skeletonised dial exposes the extraordinary complexity of the RVI2025 calibre. Subtle petrol blue accents across the satin-finished small-seconds counter and brushed rehaut introduce a refined contrast, complemented by skeletonised dauphine-style hands and a hand-stitched blue alligator leather strap.

At its heart beats the remarkable 262-component automatic movement, featuring Renaud Tixier’s patented micro-rotor system and innovative “dancer” mechanism, designed to capture even the slightest wrist movements and optimise winding efficiency. Entirely hand-finished in the Maison’s Swiss workshops, the calibre showcases an astonishing 238 inward angles, alongside black polishing, bevelling and traditional decorative techniques. A hand-engraved decorative bridge adorned with grand feu enamel further celebrates the art of fine watchmaking.

Limited to just 15 pieces worldwide, the Monday Skeleton Blue embodies the philosophy of Dominique Renaud and Julien Tixier - where mechanical ingenuity meets uncompromising artisanal excellence.
