Brunswick 38 Polar White
A Crisp Chapter for the Brunswick
With the Brunswick 38 Polar White, Fears distils its cushion-case classic to pure essentials—balanced, elegant, and quietly confident in daily wear.
At its centre is a hand-polished white lacquer dial made in Germany. Multiple layers of lacquer create a deep, porcelain sheen; crisp black printing frames a subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock, with “England” proudly beneath—an homage to each watch being hand-built in Britain. The numeral set echoes a type first used by Fears in 1946, lending heritage clarity to the composition.
Signature Fears-shaped hands, skeletonised and finished in PVD blue, shift from near-black to electric blue as the light changes, enhancing legibility without overpowering the dial.
Inside, the manually wound ETA 7001 keeps time with dependable finesse. Its blued screws and Côtes de Genève striping are visible through an exhibition caseback (or hidden behind an optional closed back), turning the daily winding ritual—via the bespoke onion crown—into a tactile pleasure.
The 38 mm 316L stainless-steel case flows with continuous curves and a refined mix of mirror polishing and fine brushing, delivering a versatile presence and 100 m water resistance. Paired with the handmade Fears Blue Barenia calf-leather strap—Alcantara®-lined for comfort.
Pristine, poised, and enduring—the Brunswick 38 Polar White is Fears design at its most timeless.
