Arnos Pewter Blue

A new shape in the Fears story

With the Arnos Pewter Blue, Fears introduces a bold new silhouette — tall, curved, and unmistakably modern. Rooted in its 1920s and ’30s rectangular archives, the Arnos takes familiar codes and reinterprets them with clarity, proportion, and contemporary detailing.

The 22.6 x 40mm stainless steel case is slim yet architectural. Brushed and polished surfaces alternate along its gracefully curved profile, ensuring comfort as the case, crystal, and caseback contour seamlessly to the wrist. A newly developed crown — subtly onion-shaped, signed with the Fears Cypher — adds a quiet nod to the brand’s heritage.

At the centre is a two-tone German-made dial, built in layers: an outer rectangle with a finely cut hobnail texture and a galvanic rhodium finish surrounds a circular inner dial in Pewter Blue, turned with concentric patterning. For the first time in Fears’ modern collection, contemporary Roman numerals appear — crisply printed in white, bridging classical and graphic.

Time is displayed by a pair of solid rhodium-coated pipette hands, diamond-cut and three-way mirror polished to enhance legibility with each flick of the wrist.

Powering the Arnos is a customised Sellita SW1000-1b, a slim Swiss-made automatic movement offering a 46-hour power reserve. The rotor, finished in Fears Blue, bears the flower of Bristol — a subtle signature woven into every watch.

Each Arnos is delivered with two bespoke straps crafted by Delugs: a hand-sewn Taupe Barenia calfskin leather strapwith folded edges and a lined interior; and a smooth Fears Blue FKM rubber strap, secured with a curved deployant clasp and designed to be cut-to-fit.

As with all Fears watches, the Arnos Pewter Blue is hand-built in Britain in small batches — and currently offered on a pre-order basis, with the next deliveries scheduled from late August.
