When Mechanical Innovation Becomes Art
RENAUD TIXIER UNVEILS THE MONDAY SKELETON
Some watches conceal their complexity. Others make it their defining feature.
With the introduction of the Monday Skeleton, Renaud Tixier takes its celebrated first creation into an entirely new dimension, transforming an already remarkable movement into an open architectural composition.
Presented in two distinct executions - Green and Petrol Blue, each limited to just 15 pieces - the Monday Skeleton represents the next chapter in the creative partnership between Dominique Renaud and Julien Tixier.

RENAUD TIXIER
Founded by Dominique Renaud, co-founder of Renaud & Papi, and Luiggino Tixier, Renaud Tixier is an independent Swiss watchmaking Maison dedicated to uniting visionary mechanical innovation with the highest expressions of traditional craftsmanship.
The Brand262 Components. 238 Inward Angles.
At the heart of the Monday Skeleton lies the newly developed RVI2025 calibre, an entirely skeletonised evolution of the original Monday movement.
Its 262 components are exposed through an intricate network of hand-finished bridges, revealing an extraordinary level of craftsmanship. No fewer than 238 inward angles, alongside black polishing, bevelling and traditional decorative techniques, demonstrate the Maison's uncompromising approach to haute horlogerie.
Yet beneath this remarkable display of craftsmanship remains the innovation that made Monday so distinctive: Renaud Tixier's patented micro-rotor system, featuring the ingenious dancer mechanism, which captures even the smallest wrist movements to improve automatic winding efficiency.
The result is a 72-hour minimum power reserve within a movement that is as technically fascinating as it is visually captivating.
Two Colours. Thirty Watches.
Encased in 40.8 mm of hand-engraved 18ct grey gold, the Monday Skeleton is offered in two carefully considered interpretations.
The Green edition introduces a rich, understated character, while the Petrol Blue offers a cooler, more contemporary expression. Both feature colour-coordinated small-seconds counters, rehauts and hand-stitched alligator straps.
With only 15 examples produced in each colour, the Monday Skeleton is an exceptionally rare expression of independent Swiss watchmaking.
For Dominique Renaud and Julien Tixier, skeletonisation is more than an aesthetic exercise. It is an opportunity to reveal the very essence of their work - a meeting of mechanical ingenuity, traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design.
