The Seafarer
The watch that tells the story of Belfast.
Born from the industrial heart of Belfast, Nomadic Watches is a modern microbrand rooted in rich Irish heritage. Drawing its name from the SS Nomadic—the last remaining White Star Line ship and tender to the Titanic—Nomadic is a tribute to engineering, resilience, and the spirit of exploration.
Founded in 2021, the brand is a testament to the revival of watchmaking in Northern Ireland. Every timepiece is assembled in Belfast, combining Swiss-made Sellita automatic movements with carefully sourced global components, resulting in reliable, robust watches designed for adventure.
The brand’s debut model, the Maraí 401, takes its name from the Irish word for "seafarer" and Titanic’s production number, 401. Designed with the same purpose-driven ethos that defined the city’s shipyards, the Maraí is a diver's companion through and through—equipped with 200m water resistance, a unidirectional ceramic bezel, and Super-LumiNova accents. A bold yellow seconds hand pays homage to the iconic Harland & Wolff cranes that still tower over Belfast today.
Today, Nomadic’s expanding collection includes the Fíor 555 GMT, which adds travel-ready dual time functionality to the brand’s DNA of durability, and the Turas 914, a modern field watch inspired by Irish Antarctic explorer Tom Crean.
Blending historical reverence with contemporary craftsmanship, Nomadic Watches offers timepieces that don’t just measure time—they honor the journeys, landmarks, and legacy of a city known for building legends.
