Evokes the openness of the inverted architecture.
Where Mechanics Breathe: The Inverto Titanium 39mm by Bernhard Lederer
Bernhard Lederer of Lederer Timepieces, one of the most quietly influential voices in contemporary independent watchmaking, introduces the latest evolution of his celebrated Inverto series: the Inverto Titanium 39mm. Two years after the debut of the original model, this new edition refines the concept with a lighter profile, a slimmer case, and a renewed focus on mechanical transparency.
With its signature inverted architecture, the Inverto Titanium exposes the heart of the movement. What is traditionally hidden beneath the dial is instead revealed in full: the synchronised dance of gears, springs, a dual-detent escapement, and the twin constant-force remontoirs. Every fifteen seconds, both remontoirs recharge simultaneously, delivering stable torque from the first wind to the last — a spectacle of energy flow that is both technical and poetic.

Lederer Timepieces is an independent haute horlogerie maison founded by master watchmaker Bernhard Lederer, dedicated to exploring the boundaries of precision, transparency, and mechanical innovation. Operating with near-complete vertical integration in its Neuchâtel manufacture, the brand conceives, engineers, and hand-finishes its movements in-house, embodying a rare combination of technical depth and artistic restraint.
About the BRANDCrafted from Grade 5 titanium, the new 39mm case elevates the model’s aesthetic clarity while enhancing comfort on the wrist. Its concave profile and interplay of mirror-polished and satin-brushed surfaces highlight the sculptural nature of Lederer’s design language. At approximately 10.5mm in height, the watch maintains a refined elegance suitable for both daily wear and formal settings.
At its core lies the Calibre 9019, a hand-wound movement conceived, produced, regulated, and finished almost entirely within Lederer’s Neuchâtel workshops. More than 98% of the components have been created in-house — a rarity even among independents. This vertical integration allows Lederer to relentlessly test, question, and refine every element of his mechanical vision. As he explains, “Without my own manufacture and laboratory, it would be impossible to question, test and refine each idea.”
The Inverto Titanium 39mm embodies this philosophy to its fullest: technical purity balanced with restrained aesthetics, open architecture combined with centuries-old chronometric principles, and craftsmanship expressed through every polished bevel and anglage.
This new release is not merely another model in the collection. It is a continuation of Lederer’s lifelong dialogue with precision — an invitation for collectors to engage with mechanics, philosophy, and the living heartbeat of time itself.
The "Anywhere" Piece Unique is more than a watch; it is a symphony of art, science, and human ingenuity, inviting wearers to embark on a timeless journey inspired by van Gogh's immortal masterpiece.

Inverto Titanium 39MM
Within the world of independent watchmaking, the Inverto Titanium 39 mm stands as a vivid example of mechanical poetry and crafted restraint. Designed by Bernhard Lederer, this watch invites you to observe time in motion. The inverted architecture delivers an open view of the movement’s heartbeat — the dual remontoirs and synchronised detent escapement orchestrate energy with precision every fifteen seconds, creating a rhythm you can see and feel.
Encased in Grade 5 titanium with a concave profile shaped for the wrist, the watch is both light and elegantly present. Its surfaces are hand-finished in Lederer’s own Neuchâtel workshops, transitioning from satin brush to mirror polish in a celebration of light, form and function.
With a diameter of 39 mm and a slim height (approx. 10.5 mm), the Inverto Titanium balances wearability and technique. The Calibre 9019 is entirely conceived, produced, regulated and finished in-house — a rare feat in modern horology. Whether you choose the calf-leather strap or the caoutchouc option, the watch embodies both a legacy of precision and a modern sensibility.
