Some watches begin with a movement. Others begin with an aesthetic idea. Monday Organica begins with the belief that the two should never be separated.

With the introduction of the Monday Organica Black and Monday Organica Bordeaux, Renaud Tixier completes a trilogy that began with the Blue in 2025. Three watches. Three colours. Seven examples of each. Yet beneath their very different personalities lies one composition and one fascinating idea: transforming the architecture of a mechanical movement into something that appears almost alive.

The result is Monday Organica - a meeting of mechanical innovation and some of Switzerland's finest traditional métiers d'art.

The Mechanical Becomes Organic

Look at an Organica dial for the first time and its inspiration appears botanical. Branches grow, lines intersect and forms seem to emerge naturally from one another.

Look closer, however, and another story begins to reveal itself.

The intricate motif is derived from the curves of three components within Renaud Tixier's RVI2023 calibre. What initially appears to belong to the natural world therefore has its origins inside the movement itself. It gives Organica two simultaneous interpretations: one artistic, the other mechanical.

Even the name reflects this duality.

Organica traces its origins to the Greek organon, derived from ergon - work or action - a linguistic root connecting the idea of an organ with that of an instrument or tool. For Renaud Tixier, this relationship between what lives and what works became the conceptual foundation for the collection.

And across three colours, that idea develops into a story of its own.

Blue: The Blossom

The story begins with Monday Organica Blue.

Unveiled as the first chapter of the trilogy and entirely spoken for upon its launch, Blue represents the blossom - the visible expression of something that has grown patiently beneath the surface.

Its organic composition transforms the technical geometry of the calibre into something flowing and almost botanical. Mechanical forms cease to appear engineered and instead seem to grow across the dial.

It established the language for everything that followed: an extraordinary decorative surface that rewards the eye immediately, while concealing a deeper mechanical reference for those willing to look more closely.

But every blossom has a beginning.

For the second chapter, Renaud Tixier went underground.

Black: The Root

If Blue is what we see, Monday Organica Black is what makes it possible.

The Black represents the root system — the invisible foundation beneath the earth from which everything above eventually grows.

And achieving its extraordinary black surface presented its own challenge.

Rather than using naturally pure black onyx, Ateliers Olivier Vaucher chose to create the colour using black grand feu enamel. It is an unforgiving approach. Without an engraved decoration disguising imperfections, the slightest bubble or inclusion becomes immediately visible.

As Renaud Tixier puts it, this black “conceals nothing.”

The result is framed by a cool Pt 950 platinum case, hand-engraved along its caseband and between the lugs. The monochromatic combination gives the Black an almost architectural presence, allowing texture, relief and craftsmanship to become the protagonists.

Where Blue blossoms, Black strips the concept back to its foundation.

And from a healthy root eventually comes fruit.

Bordeaux: The Fruit

The final chapter is perhaps the most sensual.

Monday Organica Bordeaux represents the fruit - something that cannot be rushed, but must instead be allowed to mature.

Its deep Bordeaux colour recalls ripe fruit and the lees settling at the bottom of a wine cask: rich, concentrated and formed only through the passage of time. The choice of a 5N rose gold case brings additional warmth to the composition, creating a dramatically different personality from the cool platinum of the Black.

The dial once again combines the expertise of Ateliers Olivier Vaucher in hand engraving, hand chasing and grand feu enamel, this time rendered in the rich Bordeaux tone that gives the final Organica its character. Even the barrel ratchet continues the artistic dialogue, receiving an additional silver plate that is itself engraved, chased and grand feu enamelled.

Blossom. Root. Fruit.

Three watches that are visually distinct, yet conceptually inseparable.

Four Hands, One Creation

Behind the beauty of Organica lies another important story: collaboration.

Monday Organica is described by Renaud Tixier as a creation “shaped by four hands.” Ateliers Olivier Vaucher brings decades of expertise in métiers d'art to the dial, continuing a creative dialogue with Dominique Renaud that began many years ago.

This meeting of disciplines feels particularly appropriate for Renaud Tixier.

The Maison itself was born from the partnership between Dominique Renaud, one of contemporary watchmaking's great mechanical innovators, and Julien Tixier, a young artisan devoted to preserving traditional watchmaking savoir-faire. Its philosophy is built around combining invention with craftsmanship rather than choosing between them.

Organica takes that philosophy beyond the movement and onto the dial.

Beneath the Art: RVI2023

As elaborate as the dials may be, Monday remains a mechanically serious watch.

Inside beats the RVI2023, a 274-component automatic calibre operating at 18,000 vibrations per hour and providing a minimum 60-hour power reserve.

Its defining innovation is Renaud Tixier's unusual micro-rotor architecture. A platinum flywheel works with the micro-rotor to optimise automatic winding efficiency - the world-first innovation with which the Maison introduced Monday.

The movement is equally obsessive in its traditional execution. It incorporates titanium bridges and balance cock, a gold-plated platinum micro-rotor and no fewer than 187 inward angles.

This is where Organica's concept comes full circle.

The movement inspires the dial. The dial disguises the movement as nature. Traditional craftsmanship decorates modern mechanical innovation.

Nothing exists independently.

Three Colours. Seven Pieces Each.

Rarity is built into the philosophy of Renaud Tixier.

The Organica trilogy consists of only 21 watches in total: seven Blue, seven Black and seven Bordeaux. The number seven itself carries particular significance for the Maison, referencing its wider ambition to create seven limited-edition creations, each associated with a different day of the week.

Monday is only the beginning.

Yet with Organica, Renaud Tixier has already demonstrated just how far a single idea can be explored.

The Blue gives us the blossom.

The Black reveals the root.

The Bordeaux delivers the fruit.

Together, they tell a story about nature, mechanics and time - and about the patience required for anything truly exceptional to grow.
